Los Lupeños de San José exists to promote the awareness, appreciation, and understanding of the rich and passionate culture of México through dance. Our new home is at the Mexican Heritage Plaza in San José where Los Lupeños dancers can rehearse and perform in a place that is closer to the community.
Los Lupeños has a diverse history and over the years has accumulated a varied repertoire of dances from many master teachers from both sides of the border. Much of this material can be seen throughout the year in large and small performances and events.
Los Lupeños de San José is available for contract performances.

Summer Folklorico Classes Offering
Los Lupeños is pleased to announce the Summer session of Folklórico dance classes open to the public and offered in the Mexican Heritage Plaza Dance Studio. This session starts the week of June 21st and registration is now open.

CubaCaribe 2010 Festival
Los Lupeños will present Izzie-nominated suite "Salón México" at the sixth CubaCaribe Festival at the Dance Mission Theater in San Francisco on April 23, 24, and 25.
Tardeada
On the heels of our Colima and Veracruz workshops, Los Lupeños invites you to experience the new works at our fifth Tardeada at the Mexican Heritage Plaza Theatre at 2pm, Sunday May 16th. Los Lupeños is honored to have guest master musician and workshop instructor Patricio Hidalgo Beli from San Andres Tuxtla, Veracruz. Dancers from Los Lupeños Performing Company collaborate with workshop student dancers and musicians on this artistic journey. In the spotlight, Maestro Hidalgo will perform some of his own compositions - something you should not miss!! Tickets only $5.
San Francisco Ethnic Dance Festival
Dancers from Los Lupeños participate in a special collaborative suite of dance commemorating the Bicentennial of Mexican Independence and the Centennial of the Mexican Revolution at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco on June 11, 12, and 13.
Pasados del Presidio
Los Lupeños collaborates with El Coro Hispano de San Francisco in the annual event at the San Francisco Presidio on June 25 and 26 sponsored by the Presidio Trust.
Los Amigos 20th Anniversary Celebration
Los Lupeños is honored to be the headliner at the 20th Anniversary celebration of Hawaii's only folklórico dance group, Los Amigos on Saturday, September 18 at Leeward Community College on the island of Oahu.
Feria del Mariachi
